EASTERN WASTE SYSTEMS, INC.

Hurricane Disaster Relief

Serving Broward & Miami-Dade Counties

Eastern Waste System’s Hurricane Pre-Disaster Response Plan coordinates and sustains disaster mitigation and recovery efforts by strengthening your organizations existing emergency response infrastructure to minimize any potential business disruptions after a disaster and/or emergency event. The quick speed and success of recovery can be greatly enhanced by establishment of the process and protocols prior to a disaster for coordinated post-disaster recovery planning and implementation.

When disaster strikes, EWS is called into action to perform push operations, right-of-way and common area debris removal, and temporary disposal site management and debris reduction activities.

City Manager Greg Harrison recognized EWS for its ability to rapidly provide the City of Pompano Beach local equipment. In response to other Cities in need of service post-Hurricane Irma inquiring as to how Pompano Beach got its equipment, he said “a majority of those trucks are from a company called Eastern Waste that is a Pompano Beach company”.
